DUI arrests are increasing exponentially in this country, and it’s no wonder that the greatest number of Manslaughter cases are those involving deaths due to DUI, otherwise known as DUI Manslaughter. Statistics now show that DUI cannot be associated in greater numbers with ANY particular race or economic status or gender, as this “crime de jour” is simply taking our country by storm — right up there with the other “crime de jour,” America’s “domestic violence.” I’ve been defending folks as a Florida criminal defense lawyer for too long to get this wrong; and more to the point, I’ve been a Ft.
